I can't believe that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the GTE Pro is so small. I know that everybody is waiting for the new GT rules, but still...

Kinja'd!!!

If GM would've built the Cien, It would've been perfect to represent America, in this Eurogame, against Ferrari, Aston and Porsche, and would've been a real halo car that fits Cadillac's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for Europe.

Really though, the only other active GTE cars out there are the Viper GTS-R, the C7.R, and the BMW Z4 GTE, and those are all being run by factory teams in USCC

Lexus would've loved to race, but it can't build the car just when the rules are about to change, and without knowing the new ones. FIA really needs get it's shit together, because the new WRC rules, also need to be set. And Toyota, and probably Renault and Mitsubishi, can't wait forever.

Well, GTE and GT3 are going to totally reorganize and somewhat combine into GT and GT+ I believe.

Also, Toyota is pretty occupied with P1 right now.

Z4 GTE only semi counts as I think it has some waivers to run, and was never made considering LeMans.

TMG was able to run Toyota's F1 effort, in the most expensive era of F1, They can take care of LMP, GT and WRC projects in the same time.

And Lexus said they want to race , not me.

It's essentially a GT3 built to GTE spec. But it's still eligible.

Right, but it has some waivers to run in the US, and I don't think they would have been given if it was intended to run at LeMans/anywhere else, which I believe was never in the cards for the Z4 GTE.

The ACO actually made those waivers. It's mainly due to the fact it uses an M3 engine instead of the Z4s.
